Arlene was born to Miller and Roseline Branch on September 12, 1949 in Bonham, Texas. She was the oldest of eleven children and was a caretaker to all of her brothers and sisters along with caring for most of their children as well. She married Robert James Yeager in 1969 and together they had four children.

Arlene's highest calling was motherhood. Her giving and nurturing spirit led to the nickname Patty, as a result she carried all the neighborhood children to school in the "Patty Wagon". She would go out her way to serve others, from being the Easter Program Coordinator, stewardess at church, Arlene delighted in giving her time to others. She will be fondly missed for her kindness, exceptional cooking skills, and love for her family and friends.

Arlene is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Yeager; parents, Miller and Roseline Branch; brothers, Billy Joe Branch, Bobby Joe Branch; sisters Lavator Sesay, Theresa Collins, Savator Brown and Betty Branch. 

Those left to honor her memory are sons, Roy Yeager and Shalon Thomas; daughters Tracy Emeary (Keith of Sherman, Tx) and Patricia Scott (Erik of Dallas, Tx); sister, Lenzy Cook; brothers, Franklin Branch, Harold Branch, Miller Branch Jr.; grandchildren, Kiarra Walker, Shailen Scott, Bonnie Scott, Billy Walker II, Erik Scott Jr., Tayshaun Walker along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
