Whitesboro, Texas -- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Larry L. Riddle.

Larry was born January 14, 1944, in Whitesboro, Texas, to H.L. (Booty) and Gladys Riddle. He ascended to his eternal home Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Denison, Texas. He was a graduate of Whitesboro High School and Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Services in Dallas, Texas. Larry was a longtime employee of Bratcher Funeral Home, serving as manager for many of those years. He was currently an employee of Fisher Funeral Home.

Larry married Carol Hagan, his high school sweetheart, in 1962. Larry enjoyed playing golf, listening to country music, and spending time with his grandchildren, He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol Riddle, daughter, Heather Cooksey, grandson, Dalton Cooksey, and granddaughter, Sydney Cooksey, as well as all of his extended family and many friends.

Graveside services for family and close friends of Larry will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Whitesboro Cemetery. A family hour will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.  at Fisher Funeral Home at 604 W. Main St., in Denison, Texas, following the graveside service.
