Honey Grove, Texas -- Beverly Ann (Robardey) Felts was born February 16, 1945, in Orange, Texas, to Jessie Porterfield and Arietta Angie (Griffith) Robardey. Beverly passed away September 12, 2023, in Paris, Texas surrounded by her beloved family.

Services for Mrs. Beverly Felts will be Saturday, September 16, 2023, at McKenzie United Methodist Church, in Honey Grove, Texas, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held an hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Tami Gallaway will preside.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Strickland, Jesse Whitehead, Parker Chambless, Erik Montecillo, Trey Dossey, and Francis Moran.

Beverly married the love of her life, Bobby Gerald Felts in Ladonia, TX, on December 23, 1963.

From this union they were blessed with three daughters Amanda, Jessica, and Lindsay. The couple spent over forty wonderful years together before Mr. Felts’ passing in 2004.

Mrs. Felts started her career as an educator by becoming a teacher in Honey Grove, and then went on to become vice principal, and principal before becoming superintendent of Fannindel Schools. She retired after forty years of being an educator but continued to be a lifelong member of The National Beta Club, an officer of the state board, and serving on the board of The Hall-
Voyer Foundation.

In her free time Beverly loved to play bridge, play spades with The Spades Club of Windom, go antiquing, as well as shopping.

Beverly is survived by her daughters; Amanda Leigh Whitehead and husband Jesse of Genoa, AR, Jessica Ann Chambless of Fouke, AR, Lindsay Dawn Strickland and husband Jeremy of Trenton, Texas, grandchildren; Jessica Sue Hoover of Genoa, AR, Jacey Ella Whitehead of Genoa, AR, Jaleigh Grace Whitehead of Genoa, AR, Parker Louis Chambless and wife Sarah of Genoa, AR, Raeleigh Ann Chambless of Genoa, AR, Olivia Lauren Strickland of Trenton, TX, great-grandchildren; Aliya Brooke Jester of Genoa, AR, Myles Eli Hoover of Genoa, AR, and Harlow Gracelynn Chambless of Genoa, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Arietta Robardey, beloved husband Bobby Felts, brother Carlton Robardey, and granddaughter Emma Grace Strickland.
