McKinney, Texas -- The McKinney Lions suffered  their first defeat of the season Friday night in a 31-7 loss to the Allen Eagles.

The Lions had a 7-3 advantage at the end of the first quarter, but the Eagles opened up an 18-7 lead at the half en route to a 31-7 victory.

Allen moved to 4-0 in district and 5-2 on the year.

McKinney (6-1, 3-1) will travel to Frisco Rock Hill (1-5, 0-3) on Friday.
