Bonham, Texas -- Connie Renee Reeves Latham, our loving mother, 69, passed away peacefully under hospice care at her home in Malakoff, TX on December 23, 2023. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.

Connie was born in Honey Grove, TX in 1954 to parents Virginia Crossland Hartman and Martin Hartman. Virginia and Martin divorced soon after  and Virginia married Jack W. Reeves. Connie was adopted by Jack and he was a loving, devoted father to his six children. Connie was loved by everyone. She was a devoted mom, wife and Nana. She had the kindest, sweetest, heart and will be fondly remembered for this. Her smile shined like the noon day sun, always lightening up the room when she walked in.

Connie was gracious and good humored until the very end. She was a woman of strong faith with complete trust in our Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved God, family, and keeping busy. Yard work and animals were two of the many great loves in her life. She enjoyed gardening and was very good at it. God's creation always put a big smile on her face. She was happy knowing that others were happy. Her sweet spirit will live on through her children and grandchildren.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Virginia Reeves, loving husband, Charles Cox Latham, brothers, Wesley Reeves, and Jeff Reeves.

She is survived by daughters, Davina "Dee" Hernandez, Stephanie Maciel, Jenny Teague, honorary daughter, Miramar Lozano, step sons, Charles Latham Jr (Courtney), James Latham (Antoinette), sisters, Sharon Reeves, Nan Roberts (Joey), Teresa Kennedy, sister-in-law, Dottie Reeves, grandchildren, Courtney DeMoss (Marshall), Noah Teague, Nathan Teague, Jacob Teague, Madelyn Maciel, great-granddaughter, Auburn DeMoss and best friend since age 11, Brenda Johnson and husband Jay.

A  graveside service will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023 in Ravenna, TX at Sandy (Creek) Cemetery.
