Sadler, Texas -- The Leonard Lady Tigers dropped a 3-1 decision to the S&S Lady Rams on Friday, October 4.

S&S came out on top in the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-11, but it was Leonard with a solid 25-14 victory in the third set.

The most exciting set of the evening followed, with Leonard almost forcing a tiebreaker before S&S pulled out a 26-24 win to clinch the match.

Ashlynn Cavender led Leonard with seven kills, Bella Neaville knocked down six kills, with Ava Flowers, Avery Ross, Riley Brown and Parker Evans all putting down three kills apiece. Cheyanne Clark contributed one kill.

Flowers doled out 20 assists to her Lady Tiger hitters.

Clark came up with 17 digs.

Madison Jones slipped a team-high three aces through the S&S defense.

Cambree Fromme finished with three digs, while Cara Barlagne and Abigail Grady both had a pair of digs.

Leonard will host Sulphur Bluff on Tuesday, October 8 for a nonconference match.
