This is official notice that there will be a Public Hearing at 5:00 pm, Monday, April 21, 2025, in the Community Room of the Sherman Police Department, 2600 W. Travis St., Sherman, Texas, for the following Ordinances. The Meeting at which these Ordinances are to be considered is open to the public as required by law.

Amending Sherman's Zoning Ordinance/Code Of Ordinances Chapter 14, And Granting A Specific Use Permit To Allow An Automobile Laundry, Carwash In A C-2 (General Commercial) District, Located In The 1600 Block Baker Road, Consisting Of 2.465 Acres Being Lot 6R-A2 Alcoholic Services Addition, City Of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas; Utter Properties, LTD (Owner), David Pryor (Representative) And Preston Trail Land Surveying (Surveyor) Prescribing Conditions To The Specific Use Permit; Providing A Penalty Not To Exceed $2,000.00; Providing A Repealing/Savings Clause, Severability Clause And An Effective Date

Authorizing The Issuance Of "CITY OF SHERMAN, TEXAS, COMBINATION TAX AND REVENUE CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION, SERIES 2025"; Specifying The Terms And Features Of Said Certificates; Providing For The Payment Of Said Certificates Of Obligation By The Levy Of An Ad Valorem Tax Upon All Taxable Property Within The City And A Limited Pledge Of The Net Revenues From The Operation Of The City's Waterworks And Sewer System; Resolving Other Matters Incident And Relating To The Issuance, Payment, Security, Sale And Delivery Of Said Certificates, Including The Approval And Execution Of A Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement And The Approval And Distribution Of An Official Statement; And Providing An Effective Date
I, Linda Ashby, City Clerk of the City of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of the caption of Ordinance Nos. 6829 and 6830, which will be submitted to the Sherman City Council at the Regular Meeting of April 7, 2025, for introduction, public hearing and adoption. Copies of these Ordinance are on file in the office of the City Clerk, at City Hall, 317 S. Travis St., Sherman, Texas.
