Garland, Texas --  The Class 5A Division 1 state championship was everything fans could have asked for, with the state's two best teams battling in a five-set thriller at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

McKinney North took the opener, 26-24, only to watch Flour Bluff grab the second set, 25-15.

In the third set, McKinney North fought off Flour Bluff, 25-23, but it was Flour Bluff with a 25-20 win in the fourth set to bring the teams back out onto the court for the tiebreaker.

Flour Bluff held off McKinney North, 15-10, to win the state championship.
