Bonham, Texas -- On December 15, 2024, Tyler Camielle Caplinger (Said) of Bonham, TX passed away at the age of 36 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX.
She is survived by: daughter, Ty Cook; boyfriend, Arben Krazniqi; father, Ronnie Caplinger (wife, Cara); mother, Sharon Roberts; sisters, Ashley Lott (husband, Josh) and Courtney Eastman (husband, Cory); nieces and nephews, Austin Lott, Avery Lott, Alex Lott, Camdyn Eastman, and Carter Eastman.
Tyler was a cherished and radiant soul, a beacon of light to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her warmth, kindness, and selflessness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. With a heart of gold and a spirit filled with compassion, Tyler lived a life dedicated to serving others, particularly those who needed it the most.
Her greatest passion was helping children in their most vulnerable moments—children who faced neglect, abuse, or unimaginable hardships. She believed in giving them a voice, offering them hope, and working tirelessly to create a better future for them. Tyler had an extraordinary ability to connect with children, earning their trust and helping them feel seen and valued.
Her dedication extended beyond her professional life; she carried this love and care into every aspect of her being. Whether she was mentoring colleagues, comforting families, or advocating for change, Tyler’s efforts were marked by an unwavering commitment to making the world a kinder, safer place for children. Her passion, combined with her vibrant personality and boundless empathy, made her a force for good and a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
Tyler’s love for her daughter, Ty, was limitless. Ty was the light of her life, bringing joy and meaning in ways that words could never fully express. From the moment Ty was born, Tyler’s heart was filled with immeasurable pride and an unbreakable bond of love. Ty brought a special kind of happiness that energized Tyler’s vibrant spirit, providing strength and purpose even in the face of challenges. Ty filled her mother’s heart with immense gratitude and pride. She was not only Tyler’s beloved daughter but also her greatest blessing and the center of her world.
Tyler had a deep love for traveling, often embarking on adventures with her family and friends. She had an adventurous spirit and a deep appreciation for nature, always seeking new experiences. Her love for animals was boundless, spanning all species—from giraffes and cats to squirrels and even skunks. Her distinctive style and vibrant personality made her truly unforgettable.
Most recently, Tyler served as the Program Director at the Fannin County Children’s Advocacy Center, part of the Fannin County Children’s Center, where she poured her heart into helping children in need. Her work reflected her deep passion for supporting those who had faced unimaginable hardships—children who had been abused, neglected, or struggled to find safety and stability.Prior to that, she dedicated her talents to Grayson County CPS, where she served as a Conservatorship Supervisor and worked in Investigations. In every role she held, she was a steadfast advocate for the most vulnerable, ensuring their voices were heard and their needs met. Her commitment to improving the lives of these children was more than a job; it was her calling. She mentored countless individuals, equipping them with the tools, compassion, and knowledge to carry on her mission. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched, both young and old, and through the continued work of those she inspired to follow in her footsteps as a mentor.
Tyler had a remarkable ability to prioritize the well-being of others, often placing their care above her own. In her final act of selflessness, she gave the ultimate gift as an organ donor, ensuring that multiple lives would continue through her extraordinary generosity. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will forever be remembered.
Arrangements are under Brown’s Funeral Home in Durant, OK. The family will host a Celebration of Life that will be held Saturday, January 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Mulberry Cemetery in Mulberry, TX. Please come dressed as Tyler would have wanted; colorful, vibrant, or even fancy.
