Bonham boys powerlifters place 5th in regionals, send two to state

The Bonham boys placed 5th as a team at the Regional Powerlifting Meet, with six Bonham lifters medaling. Zeke Romero and James Ostrom qualified for the Boys State Powerlifting Meet March 21 in Abilene.

The highly successful Bonham High School powerlifting program is guided by head coach Randall Dills.

Zeke Romero (Jr)- STATE QUALIFIER
Placed 2nd - 132’s
S-390, B-235, DL-420

James Ostrom (Sr)- STATE QUALIFIER
Placed 3rd- 114’s Hit State Total 850
S-315, B-205, DL-330
(Barely missed a 25-year-old Regional Record Deadlift attempt of 410)
