Kaufman, Texas -- The curtain fell on another exciting season of playoff volleyball for the Dodd City Lady Hornets as Dodd City dropped a three-set decision to top-ranked Blum in the regional semifinals.

Despite 21 kills by Dodd City senior Addison Weeks, Blum posted wins of 25-13, 27-25 and 25-16.

Gracyn Shindler put down six kills, Kaleigh McBrayer had two kills and Kodi Dorau contributed one kill.

Shindler led the team in assists (13) and digs (23).

The Lady Hornets finished the year with a 24-14 record.
