The US 82 eastbound mainlane traffic will be detoured at Exit 642, eastbound exit to US 75. Follow the posted detour and re-enter US 82 eastbound mainlanes near Loy Lake Road in Sherman.

The US 82 westbound mainlane traffic will be detoured at Exit 642B, westbound exit to US 75. Follow the posted detour and re-enter US 82 westbound mainlanes near Travis Street.

All closures are subject to being altered due to weather conditions, mechanical issues, or material supply issues.

Motorists who travel frequently in this area are asked to pay special attention to all barricades, traffic controls, and signs, and to reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. Motorists should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems. TxDOT also asks drivers to remain alert to road crews while navigating through the construction zone.
