Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Billy Lynn Shelley, 70, of Edhube, will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham. The interment will follow at the Randolph-Linsdsey Cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. David Brackett. Mr. Shelley passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at his residence in Edhube.

Mr. Shelley was born April 14, 1943 to AD (Pug) and SZ (Davis) Shelley in Randolph, TX. He married Faye Ruth Bryan on March 21, 1980 in Decatur, TX. Mr. Shelley served in the US Army, and was a retired business owner.

Mr. Shelley is survived by his wife, Faye of Edhube, son Travis Shelley of Comanche, TX, daughter, Cindy Bardwell and husband Mike of Ravenna, daughter, Kay Horn and Danny Dowling of Bonham, daughter,Gayle Riddle and husband Tim of Springtown, TX, grandchildren Skye and Arye Durst of Ravenna; Katelyn and Chase Bardwell of Ravenna; Bailey Horn and Daniel Dowling of Bonham; Taylor Shockey, Taylor, Tyler, and Trevor Riddle of Springtown;and Adam and Lacey Shockey of Bonham;  great grandson, Ashton Shockey, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Pug and SZ Shelley, sister, Maggie Billings, and brother, Dwayne Shelley.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eugene Blackerby, Rodney Blackerby, Don Baker, Bill Bibby, Rodney Deason, and Jerry Herriage. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Harris, David Parks, and Ken Womack.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
