Van Alstyne, Texas -- Jose Sanchez, 81, of Van Alstyne, Texas passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Plano Medical Center. He is survived by sons; Ricky Sanchez, David Sanchez, Francisco Sanchez, Joe Sanchez, Gilbert Sanchez, daughters; Connie Olvera, Florinda Sanchez, Linda Calderon, brothers; Raymond Sanchez Jr., Ubaldo Sanchez, sisters; Josephine Sanchez, Ramona Sanchez, Rosa Marie Villegas, 29 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Van Alstyne with burial following at the Van Alstyne Cemetery.

A Rosary Service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. before the Rosary.
