Gunter Texas --Mary Ruth Payne, 85, of Gunter, Texas passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Beacon Hill Nursing Center in Denison Texas. She was born February 14, 1928 in Pampa Texas to George and Myrtle Green. She married Raymond Payne November 15, 1947 in McKinney, Texas.
She is survived by son Larry Payne and wife Sue, daughter Linda Payne Anderson and husband Richard, sister Iva Nell Reed, 7 grandchildren Kristy, Michael, Tammy, Jason, Heather, Lori, Jennifer, and 10 great - grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, at the Whitaker Cemetery in Gunter with L.D. Byrd officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
