The Red River Regional Auxiliary held elections at the organization's business meeting June 3, 2013.

The new officers for the Auxiliary are:  Betty Lumpkins, President, Norma Hamby, First Vice President; Doris Kane, Second Vice President; Pat Shaffer, Third Vice President, Judy Conejo, Secretary; Wileen Burns, Treasurer; Wanda Haynes, Chaplain; Joyce Denton, Parliamentarian.

The Auxiliary’s main purpose is to assist patients who come to the hospital, and to  raise money for equipment and/or supplies for patients and their families.  In the past we have purchased ER stretchers, redecorated and furnished the chapel, the ICU waiting room, and main lobby.  In addition we have purchased equipment for various departments, as requested and approved by the auxiliary members.

Betty Lumpkins is shown preparing for her first meeting this year as President of the Red River Regional Auxiliary, which was held at the hospital on June 3, 2013. Betty greeted the members, a business meeting was conducted, and refreshments were served.

We presently have 35 members who volunteer at least 4 hours a week assisting patients and working in the Gift Shop.  Applications for membership are available in the Gift Shop for anyone interested in volunteering their time.
