George Ann Morrison

Melissa, Texas -- Funeral services for Ann Morrison will be held on Tuesday, June 11, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Melissa at 2101 E Melissa Rd. The family will have a visitation and viewing Monday, June 10, at 6 p.m. at Hurricane Creek Country Club in Anna. A private burial will be held at DFW National Cemetery on Wednesday, June 12.

Ann was born on April 14, 1937 in Caddo, Ok and passed away early in the morning on June 5, 2013. Ann is survived by her husband of 58 years Dick Morrison, children Greg Morrison, Angie Morrison-Turechek, Kim Morrison-Vance and their spouses Susie Morrison, David Turechek and Shane Vance, grandchildren Matt Morrison, Miles & Emily Morrison, Ross Vance, Dawson Turechek, Abby Turechek and Drake Vance. She is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Gabrielle Renee' Turechek and Michael Brady Morrison.

Ann grew up in Denison, Texas. She met Dick Morrison, the love of her life in 1954 and married him in 1955. They raised three children and were blessed with eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. They shared a love for the Lord and a lifetime of love together. She lived her life for her family and will be forever missed by every life she touched. I lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
