Ms. Morris was born July 23, 1919 to Clarence and Sarah (Carter) Wright in Fannin County. She married Lee B. Morris on August 8, 1962 in Lubbock, Texas, and he preceded her death on August 2, 2006. Ms. Morris was a member of Faith Independent Baptist Church and was a Nurse’s Aide, and a Dietary Aide for many years at Red River Regional Hospital (Fannin County Hospital).

Ms. Morris is survived by sons; Curry Perry of Durant, Oklahoma, Billy Perry of Bonham, Texas, Charles Morris of North Zulch, Texas, Jerry Morris of Bryan, Texas, daughters; Joyce Collinsworth of Bonham, Carmaleta Byrd of Comanche, Texas, Dixie Pack of New York, Sandra Morris of New York, brother; Roy Lee Wright, sister; Pearl Arnie, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter; Merle Givens, and 4 grandsons.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dwayne Gage, Jerry Loya, David Perry, Daniel Perry, Ricky Byrd, and Jacky Lee Byrd. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Brian McCandless, Daniel Jager, Jacob Jager, and Billy Joe Perry.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
