Fannin County Master Naturalists Project
Bonham -- When you are at the Fannin County Courthouse Square, take a moment to enjoy the new landscaping, plants, and tree beds.
In coordination with Fannin County Commissioners Court, the Fannin Bois d’Arc Master Naturalist Chapter took on the refresh of the courthouse grounds.
Tree beds were lowered to ensure health of our legacy trees, invasives removed, beds mulched, borders clearly identified, and xeriscape plants planted to lower costs of maintenance.
The Bois d’Arc MN chapter is a Fannin County service and education organization emphasizing the Native Bio Systems of Fannin County. All meetings, training, and activities are open and free.
To join as a member, completion of a Basic Training Course is needed.
Next Course is in the Fall.
The Chapter meets monthly every third Thursday at the American Bank, Bonham, Texas.
Dinner/Meeting starts at 6:00 p.m., Educational Program starts at 7:00 p.m.
