Service will be held in FPC Sanctuary and presented by the Fannin County Ministerial Alliance.
A reception will follow in the adjacent Williams Education Building Fellowship Hall.
Friday, April 19 – Good Friday
Noon - 7:00 p.m. Prayer Vigil
The FPC Sanctuary will be open for private prayer, devotions and review of the Stations of the Cross. Please enter through the door located on the south side of the sanctuary that has ramp access.
7:30 p.m. – Good Friday Tenebrae Service
Service will be held in FPC Sanctuary. Tenebrae is a service of worship that moves from light to darkness, with the fading light symbolizing the fading loyalty of disciples and friends of Jesus. and His eventual rejection by all people and His death on the cross.
Sunday, April 21 – Easter Sunday
Everyone is welcome to join us at First Presbyterian Church-Bonham as we celebrate our risen Savior with a Sunrise Service at 6:00 a.m. in the Common Ground Prayer Garden and a traditional worship service at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary.
6:00 a.m. Sunrise Service with Breakfast to Follow
Our Easter Sunrise Service will begin at 6:00 am in the Common Ground Prayer Garden (or in the sanctuary if weather is not suitable) to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and will include music, scripture and dramatic readings. Wear comfortable clothing; bring your flashlights and lawn chairs. Onsite seating is also available.
All are invited to fellowship and enjoy delicious food at our popular Easter Sunrise Breakfast Buffet that will be held in the adjacent Williams Education Building Fellowship Hall following the Sunrise Service. There will be plenty for all!
10:00 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt with Worship Service to Follow at 11:00 a.m.
Join us for some Easter fun! We will be having an Easter Egg Hunt in the prayer garden at 10:00 a.m. for all children ages toddler - 5th grade. Be sure to bring your basket. Also, an Easter photo booth and juice boxes will be available in the Williams Education Building Fellowship Hall. If weather does not cooperate, the egg hunt will be held in the Williams Education Building.
11:00 a.m. Traditional Easter Worship Service with Special Music in the Sanctuary
Sing praises, hear the word preached and receive the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper in our traditional Easter service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. The FPC Chancel Choir with piano and organ accompaniment will perform special selections that will enrich the celebration of Christ's resurrection with glorious music.
