Jana Rash will conduct the workshop and has divided the three hours into 3 phases: phase one is a discussion of composition, exposure and focus and the 12 elements of a photograph.

Phase two is the walk during which participants will take photographs of a wide variety of subjects they encounter.

Phase three is to return to the arts center and download the photographs onto a laptop.

A discussion of the images acquired and how to crop and present them will follow. 

Participants must bring a camera and a laptop and wear walking shoes. Any camera may be used including a cell phone, but participants must have the capability to download their images from their camera to their computer in some way. The cost of the workshop is $60 and includes entry into the Photography Exhibit which goes up June 21 - entries will be accepted between June 12 and June 19.
