Bonham, Texas -- The Sam Rayburn House State Historic Site, 890 West State Hwy 56, Bonham, Texas will have two opportunities to learn about becoming a volunteer and signing up for upcoming events on June 1, 2019. 

Our site's educator/interpreter, Kathy Lathen, will lead a volunteer training program on June 1, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

Volunteers will learn:  a brief history of the Rayburn family home and farm, volunteer expectations, review of safety procedures, and upcoming opportunities to volunteer.
