Serving as pallbearers will be Garrett Banker, Chase Banker, Lance Collins, Matthew Collins, Van Collins, Sammy Collins, and Michael Collins. Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove.

Mr. Collins passed away Thursday July 16 at Paris Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Collins was born November 16, 1950 in Honey Grove, the son of Weldon Landrum & Anna Myrtle (Barnett) Collins. He worked as a produce manager in the family grocery store, and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Collins is survived by his nephews Lanny Dee Collins & wife Kathy of Allen, TX., Mark Collins & wife Pam of Stephenville, TX., Doug Collins &  Lisa of Honey Grove,  niece Valerie Banker & husband Bill of Honey Grove, aunt Juanita Barnett of Bonham, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Weldon & Anna Collins, brothers Lanny & Buster Collins, and sister Deanna Collins.

Visitation for family & friends will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16 at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Honey Grove. Mr. Collins will lie in state during the day on Saturday for visitors seeking to avoid crowds.

Funeral and visitation attendees are asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing when possible.
