Sherman, Texas -- FM 131 (North Travis Street) at US 75 intersection will be closed to through traffic beginning Aug. 12, in order to demolish the existing southbound US 75 bridge over FM 131. 
The closure is expected to last through the weekend and FM 131 will be reopened to traffic by Monday morning.
During this closure, westbound traffic on FM 131 is asked to use the northbound US 75 frontage road to the Taylor Street bridge as a detour.
Eastbound traffic is asked to use the southbound US 75 frontage road to Washington Street as a detour.
