Bonham, Texas -- Paula Rae Lewis, 61, of Bonham, Texas was born on January 19, 1962 in Arlington, Texas to Paul and Mada Walker. She went to be with the Lord Friday, September 1, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Paula married the love of her life Donny Linn Lewis, at 16, on April 15, 1978 and had 2 daughters. She was the matriarch of the family, always the first one you called. She took care of the farm that she called “3 C’s” cows, chickens, and cats.

Paula was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Paula is survived by her husband Donny Lewis; daughter, Sherri Hookins and husband Chris; daughter Holly Hopper and husband Robert, grandchildren Hayden and Hayley Hopper, brothers and sisters, Travis Walker and wife Charlotte, Barbara Harris, Kenneth Walker and wife Roxanne, Mickey Walker, Kathy Crawford and husband Russell, and Dwain Walker and wife Sabrina; in addition to numerous extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mom and dad Mada and Paul Walker, great nephew Ryder Jackson, and niece Cassie Wood.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Owens Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Jeff Massey will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kris Walker, Nathan Walker, Grant Walker, Travis Walker, Mikey Walker, and
Dillon Walker.
