Bonham, Texas -- Just 4 days after rushing into this world on Sunday, August 20, 2023, Ranger Phoenix Geer passed away peacefully in his parents’ arms at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas on Thursday, August 24, 2023. During this fleeting time, he touched many lives and was loved by all who met him.

Born approximately 12 weeks early at 26 weeks, weighing only 1 lb and 14.9 oz, Ranger was able to respond to his parent’s voices, and grasp their fingers with his tiny little hand. He had fine dark strands of hair and the cutest little nose.

Ranger is survived by his parents Samantha Sparks and Casey Geer, his Nana and papa Roberta Sparks, Mark Sparks, Larry Geer, his great grandma and great papa Cindy Woods and Al Woods, in addition to numerous extended family and friends. He joins his siblings in heaven.

A memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas. Bro. Mark Posey will officiate.
