Dionna Marsalete Savage

Leonard, Texas -- Dionna Marsalete Savage, 44, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on November 17, 2023, in Coppell, Texas. She was born to Chester Ray Savage and Pamela Sue (James) Savage on April 9, 1979, in Greenville, Texas. Dionna graduated from Leonard High School in 1997. She had a career as a draftsman and would design house plans and interiors of planes. In her free time, Di enjoyed back roading in her truck and listening to music.

Dionna will be remembered by her partner in life and best friend, Michele Trapp of Coppell, Texas; goddaughter, Adryonna Lewis; parents, Chester and Pam Savage of Leonard, Texas; brother, Corey Savage and wife, Cindy, of Lubbock, Texas, nephews and niece, Braxton, Jaxson, and Everly; aunts and uncles, Jacqui Savage, Glenn James and wife, Terry, Gerald James and wife, Denise, and David McBroom and wife, Redonna; and cousins, Chris Savage, Amy Dubuisson, Brittany Logston, and Bryan James.

She is preceded by her grandparents, Howard Ray “Jack” and Dorotha Jean (Kent) Savage, and Jimmy Roy and Patsy (McBroom) James.

Family will welcome guests at a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, November 24, 2023, at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home, 701 North Cedar Street, Leonard, Texas 75452. A funeral service officiated by Bro. Charles Wrenn and Pastor Joe Gist, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2023, at First Methodist Church of Leonard. Following the service, there will be a procession to Leonard Cemetery for burial.

Pallbearers for Dionna’s service are Ethan Cox, Carter Anderson, Jaxon Savage, Braxton Savage, Tyler Logston, Philippe Fulmer, and Nicolas Fulmer.

Matthew “Butch” Morale and Anson Lewis will serve as honorary pallbearers.
