Fannin County, Texas -- Texas Department of Transportation officials have announced that Highway
19 Construction LLC of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be demolishing the cross-culvert structure on FM 274 near CR 1105 in Fannin County beginning Sept. 24, 2024.

The box culvert demolition work is part of the FM 274 rehabilitation project to replace the cross structure with new one. FM 274 will be closed at the box culvert until the structure replacement work is completed. Drivers will have to follow the detour signs during this road closure.

Message boards were in place beginning Sept. 11, 2024, to notify drivers about the road closure. This road closure is expected to last about three weeks.

The traveling public is requested to observe signs and barricades and to approach work zones cautiously with reduced speed.
