James loved to shoot, fish, BBQ, and rooting for all Texas sports.

Mr. Kirby is survived by his sons, Lloyd Brian Kirby of Burleson, TX, Larry Dean Kirby of Burleson, TX, Jimmy Don Kirby and wife Shelly of Windom, TX, daughter Lisa Kirby Davis, sister Jeannie Dobson and husband Joe of Mustang, OK, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Johnnie Kirby as well as the mother of his four children Patricia Louetta (Harrison) Kirby.

Interment will be held at Willow Wild at a later date.
