Bonham, Texas -- Amy Marie Morrison passed away unexpectedly on October 27, 2024 at the age of 48. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024 at Wise Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Entombment will take place at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, TX.
Amy was born in Denison, TX on November 8, 1975. She spent most of her childhood in Duncanville, TX. The family settled in Allen, TX and Amy graduated from Allen High School in 1993. Amy married the love of her life, Kyle Morrison on May 7, 2011.
The Lord blessed Amy and Kyle with two sons, Garrett and Graysen. Becoming a mother was the highlight of Amy's life. She loved her boys with every ounce of her being.
Amy was a strong woman of faith and this could been seen in her dedication to family and friends. Amy and her mother, Jeneva would spend every Friday together getting lost in conversation and savoring the company of one another. She will forever be remembered for her strength in the face of trials, compassion for those in need, and hilarious personality.
Laughter was at the heart of Amy especially during the holiday season. Christmas always brought joy from driving around looking at Christmas lights or gathering for holiday dinners. In Amy's spare time she enjoyed cooking and baking. From cakes, to Halloween favorites, Amy enjoyed making good dinners and sweet treats for her family.
Amy enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune with her youngest son Graysen and was an avid Cowboys fan. Her beautiful spirit will live on in the lives of all of those that knew and loved Amy.
Every October when the leaves start to change they will fondly smile, and look to the Heavens and remember their carefree, kind, loving, wife-mom-daughter-and friend, Amy.
Amy is preceded in death by grandparents, Tommy and Marcelene Stafford, Mary Dowdle, Opal Faye Morrison; and great-grandmother, Ola Dowdle.
She leaves behind husband, Kyle Morrison; sons, Garrett Morrison (Azure Ammons) and Graysen Morrison; parents, Jeneva and David Dowdle; in-laws, Ray and Dottie Morrison; grandfather, Sam Dowdle; niece, Braylee; nephews, Austin, Cash, Ethan and Abel along with numerous extended family and friends.
