An evacuation order has been issued for the 2600 and 2700 blocks of McKinney St. and the Villages of Melissa for safety. Emergency personnel are actively assisting with evacuations and ensuring public safety.

A temporary shelter has been set up for evacuated residents at the high school cafeteria at 3030 Milrany Ln. The estimated time to resolve the issue is approximately three hours.

Melissa Rd. and Fannin St. are temporarily closed.

Motorists and residents are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
