Fannin County, Texas -- Historic Fannin County newspapers often featured beautiful front pages for their Christmas editions.

An exhibit of these newspapers is now on display on the 2nd Floor of the Fannin County Courthouse. Visit the courthouse during this season to view this display and beautiful decorations.

The pages feature both Santa themes and religious themes.

The Museum was able to mount this exhibit because over 17,000 issues of Fannin County newspapers are available online at the Portal to Texas History (https://texashistory.unt.edu/).

More historic Christmas newspapers are on display at the Fannin County Museum of History in Bonham. Drop by the Museum to see them and historic Christmas decorations and toys. The Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday, noon – 4:00 p.m.
