Bonham, Texas -- Please join us in a special send-off for the Honorable John Skotnik. All are invited to Bonham City Hall located at 514 Chestnut St. Bonham, TX 75418 on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Judge Skotnik has served as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Bonham for the past 16 years. On November 5, 2024 the Honorable Judge ran for and won the elected position of the Fannin County Criminal District Attorney.

On November 11, 2024 the Bonham City Council appointed Michael Evans as the full-time City of Bonham Municipal Court Judge. Michael Evans has been the Associate Judge and has been standing in for John Skotnik in recent months as he prepares to be the new Fannin County Criminal District Attorney.
