Fannin County, Texas -- Want to brighten up a child's Christmas? The Angel Tree at the Fannin County Courthouse still has plenty of opportunities to support the children for Christmas through the Fannin County Children’s Center.
The Angel Tree is placed in the center of the hallway on the 1st floor just as you walk in. We hope that the tree becomes bare soon, as there is a December 13 deadline to bring the presents in to be wrapped for the children. We have a tree that the Creative Art Center children have created ornaments for as well.
The courthouse is fully decorated and we would love the public to come and enjoy. On Saturday, December 7, 2024, the courthouse will be open for tours from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Also, we will welcome the Bonham High School Choir at the December 17 regular meeting of Fannin County Commissioners Court for a Christmas Choral performance. This is becoming a highly anticipated annual event that the public is welcome to attend.
