Dodd City, Texas -- The Graford Rabbits, the No. 15 team in Class 2A, handed the hometown Dodd City Hornets an 11-point loss in competition Friday at the 2024 Craig Reed Invitational.

Graford had a 13-6 lead after the opening period and went on an 8-2 run in the second quarter to lead, 21-8 at the half.

Dodd City rallied in the second half to get within nine points of the lead, but the Hornets couldn't overcome the early deficit and fell, 44-33.

Noah Perry, Graford's 6' 6" post, led all scorers with 22 points.

Dodd City was paced by Aiden Nietupski's 11 points.
