Honey Grove, Texas -- JoAnna Pearl Franklin was born July 5, 1932, to Odis and Clifford (Watson) Scoggins in the Oakridge Community. Mrs. Franklin passed away December 12, 2024, in Sherman, TX.

Graveside services for JoAnna Franklin will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Oakridge Cemetery, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Bro. Rick Ring will preside.

JoAnna began school at Bartley Woods and upon the school closing she transferred to Ladonia where she graduated in 1949.

Mrs. Franklin is survived by daughters, Norma Lochridge of Bonham, TX, Rita Bruner of Hendrix, OK, sisters; Nancy Price of Greenville, TX and Lynda Cagle of McKinney, TX, 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 10 great-granddaughters, 4 great-grandsons, 3 great-great-granddaughters, and 5 great-great-grandsons.

JoAnna is preceded in death by her father, Odis Scoggins; mother, Clifford Scoggins; two brothers, J.R. and Tommy Scoggins; and two granddaughters, Kelly Jones and Lisa McKinzie.
