Sherman, Texas – Home Hospice of Fannin County is pleased to announce the start of our “Grief and Loss 8-Week” Support Group starting on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. This group is open to all in the community and will be specially focused on how you live with your grief, work to heal from your loss and find hope.
The group will meet in our Home Hospice Offices at 1211 E. 6th St., Suite 120, Bonham, TX 75418.
The sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. starting January 7 and continuing to February 25. Each week we will work through discussing topics such as facing family and friends, creating a new “normal” and getting through “firsts”.
“Experiencing grief over the loss of a loved one can be a difficult journey” said Nancy Jackson, Group Leader. “However, it can become overwhelming especially after the holiday season. People are often surprised how much it impacts them emotionally, mentally and physically. There is no magic pill or quick fix for your grief, but sharing your journey with others who have experienced the loss of a loved one, can make it easier. Come and join us.”
To register for the support group, please contact Nancy Jackson at 903-868-9315.
