JORDAN WITHROW, the right-handed pitcher who graduated from Trenton in 2016 wore #24 during her softball career. In the course of her time as a Trenton Lady Tiger, Jordan led the Lady Tigers to 90 wins accumulating 936 strikeouts with a .194 Earned Run Average (ERA). Additionally, she helped Trenton reach four Playoff appearances, including back-to-back Regional Finals in 2015 & 2016. Rich Hillard noted in an article recognizing her softball career at Trenton High School, “It would hardly be hyperbole to say Jordan Withrow has had a great impact on the softball program at Trenton High School. While not solely responsible for its quick rise to prominence the last few years, it is not coincidental that her arrival and the success have come in unison. Whether in the pitcher's circle or batter's box, she has led the effort that has turned Trenton into a postseason powerhouse in three short years.”
Jordan was Four-Time All-State, Academic All-District and Trenton Softball MVP, 2013 District Newcomer of the Year, 2014, 2015 & 2016 District MVP, 2015 All-Texomaland First Team, 2016 All-Texomaland MVP and 2016 Academic All-State.
She began her collegiate career in the fall of 2016 and ended her incomplete senior season, spring of 2020 due to the global pandemic. Even with her career cut short, she succeeded from the start at Tarleton earning national recognition and making history from early on. She is the first Tarleton softball player to notch a 200-strikeout single season, moving her into fourth place all-time in the category at the school. Nationally, Jordan finished No. 7 in pitching victories and No. 5 in strikeouts in 2018 to garner numerous awards. Jordan was 71-20 in the circle with a 2.31 ERA in 608 innings of work. Jordan helped the Texans reach 3 NCAA Playoff appearances and was on pace for a deep run her final season before its abrupt ending. While at Tarleton State University she was Two-Time All-American, Two-Time NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete, Two-Time All-Conference and Three-Time All-Region. She received awards for LSC Pitcher of the Week, Pitcher of the Year, LSC Golden Glove, LSC Academic Player of the Year and held nine University Records.
