Fannin County Master Gardeners announce 2025 officers and upcoming events

Fannin County, Texas -- The Fannin County Master Gardeners are excited to announce their officers for the 2025 term. Leading the organization this year is Justin Bond as President. Supporting him are Sharon Kilpatrick as Vice President of Programs, Tami Hinders as Vice President of Hours, Arlette Miller as Secretary, and Treva Gibbs as Treasurer. Together, this dedicated team is looking forward to a year of growth, education, and community involvement.

Mark your calendars for upcoming events

The Master Gardeners will kick off the year with their Spring Gardening Program, scheduled for Friday, January 24, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This educational event will focus on topics such as spring
vegetables, fruit and tree nuts, and berries, providing attendees with valuable insights for a successful growing season. Tickets are available by calling the Fannin County Extension Office or by scanning the QR
code below.

Planning is also in full swing for the highly anticipated Home and Garden Expo, set for Saturday, March 22,
2025. Vendors are encouraged to participate in this annual celebration of gardening, homemaking, and
sustainable living. If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact the Extension Office for more information.

The Fannin County Master Gardeners are dedicated to providing valuable gardening knowledge and resources
to the community. With exciting events and ongoing educational programs, 2025 promises to be a fruitful year
for garden lovers across Fannin County.
