Miller Grove, Texas -- In a battle of the two unbeatens in District 19-1A on Tuesday night, the Dodd City Lady Hornets moved into the driver's seat with a convincing 32-point victory over Miller Grove. Both teams came into the contest with 3-0 district records.

Miller Grove only trailed 12-6 after the first quarter, but Dodd City unleashed an 18-2 run in the second period to take a 30-8 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Dodd City went on to outscore Miller Grove, 26-16, during the second half to give Dodd City a 56-24 win on the road.

Dodd City (4-0) will host Ector on Friday, while Miller Grove (3-1) travels to Savoy.
