PUBLIC NOTICE

 

This is official notice that there will be a Public Hearing at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in the Community Room of the Sherman Police Department, 2600 W. Travis St., Sherman, Texas, for the following Ordinances. The Meeting at which these Ordinances are to be considered is open to the public as required by law.

 

ORDINANCE NO. 6800

Amending Sherman’s Zoning Ordinance/Code Of Ordinances Chapter 14, Repealing Ordinance 6602, And Granting A Specific Use Permit To Allow Hotel or Motel in the Blalock Commercial Overlay District Located at 301 West Travis Street, Consisting of 4.821 acres being in the Preston Kitchen Survey, Abstract No. 667 and currently in the Blalock Commercial Overlay District/Blalock Planned Development District, City Of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas TEKMAK Sherman Hotel, LP (Owner), Kellen Robertson (Representative) and Votex Surveying Company (Surveyor) Prescribing Conditions To The Specific Use Permit; Providing A Penalty Not To Exceed $2,000.00; Providing A Repealing/Savings Clause, Severability Clause And An Effective Date;
