Sherman, Texas -- Visitation for Juanita Faye Pate, 102, of Allen, is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman, TX. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman, TX, with pastor Mike Littlefield officiating. Burial will be at Akers Cemetery south of Sherman under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman, TX.

Mrs. Juanita Pate died on Jan 15, 2025, in Allen, TX. She was born Aug 2, 1922, in Mexia, TX, to the late Marvin and Bertha Kinsel. She was a member of Tyler Tabernacle and was preceded in death by husband J.D, (they were married for 68 years), son Marvin Pate, grandson Wayne Honeycutt and granddaughter Christina Faye Pate.

Survivors include her sons, James/Allyson Pate, Washington, & Bennie & Debbie Pate, Athens; daughters Leta Edwards, Denison, Debbie/Robert Simmons, Allen, & Joyce Wilson, Carrollton.  12 grandchildren & 23 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are: Benjiman Pate, Brayden Yancy, Chad Pitt, Chris Pate, Kendon Pate, Lauren Wilson; Honorary Pallbearers: Jay Honeycutt.
