Bonham, Texas -- An inurnment for Cornelius W. Young, 71, of Bonham, Texas was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2025 at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee. Cornelius passed away at his residence on January 15, 2025. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas had care of the
arrangements.

Cornelius was born October 9, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee the son of Elizabeth Young Williams. He was
a United States Navy veteran and a retired postal employee.

Cornelius is survived by his daughter, Tamieka Young, sons, Larin Young and Gregory Williams, brothers, Lafayette Young, Jerry Young, and sisters, Veronica Young and Sharon Young.
