Ivanhoe, Texas -- Eddy Ray Lott passed away February 15, 2025 in Denison, TX with his children by his side.

He was born June 16, 1958 in Bell County, TX to Edward and Juanita Lott. Eddy was a master carpenter who could build anything you needed. He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite hobby was fishing. Eddy loved being at the lake. Even up to the end he asked to go fishing.

Eddy battled kidney failure for two years until the pain became too much for him to continue dialysis. Even though it was a hard fought two years, I believe Eddy wouldn’t trade it for anything. He was able to spend time with his kids and get to know them on a deeper level. This was a true example that God can take your hardship and use it for good.

Eddy is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Juanita Lott, his sisters, Sue Coats and Sherry Windham, brothers, Jackie Windham and Jimmie Windham and grandson, Dakota Trotter.

He was survived by his children, Crystal House (husband, Mark), Josh Lott (wife, Ashley), his brother, Terry Windham, niece, Alicia Franzoni, nephew, Owen Windom, and several grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. March 2, 2025 at Ivanhoe Baptist Church in Ivanhoe, Texas. His son, Pastor Josh Lott, will officiate.

The family would like to thank Hospice Plus for their amazing care during this difficult time.
