About our February speaker: Deb Cornelius

Deborah Cornelius, a Dallas-born and Sherman-raised storyteller, will be sharing her story at the upcoming meeting. Residing with her husband along the picturesque Red River, Cornelius discovered uncanny coincidences in her life regarding two special pioneer families. These families were among the founders of Dallas, Texas, and the first pioneers in Wichita County, where she currently lives.

This discovery sparked her fascination and led to thorough research about these families and westward expansion. Deborah's passion for history and rigorous research culminated in an inspiring narrative, which
she felt compelled to share. Her presentation will delve into the legacy of these unique pioneer families, uncovering a remarkable tale of friendship, love, grit, and bravery in the writing of her novel.

Join us for an engaging and enlightening afternoon with Deborah Cornelius and connect with fellow genealogy enthusiasts.
