Empty Bowls update

Windom, Texas -- The Windom Art School warriors are in the home stretch of completing our goal of 200 bowls for the April 26, Empty Bowls fundraiser benefitting the Fannin Crisis Center.

The Fannin Crisis Center gave us an old kiln that had been donated to them. With the help of a generous patron, we retrofitted it, and now have four kilns in continuous operation cranking out fused glass and ceramic bowls. We also have an artist making turned wooden bowls.

This year's event will not only be an extravaganza of Fannin County generosity, but also Fannin County creativity, every bowl being a unique hand made work of art. At this point, we have makers equal to finishing the task, though if you would like to put your hand in, it's not too late. And supply donations will be most gratefully accepted.
