Honey Grove, Texas -- The Honey Grove Library & Learning Center is pleased to announce a new exhibit opening this Saturday, March 1.

Entitled "A Time Before Texas", the exhibit focuses on ancient indigenous cultures in our area. On display will be an exhibit on loan from Humanities Texas as well as locally collected artifacts.

Additionally, we will host a presentation by a local archeologist Cody Davis. Cody, Principal Investigator and Project Manager with AR Consultants, Inc. will be presenting this Saturday, March 1 at 11:00 a.m. in Lyday Hall. His presentation will focus on the work that he has been doing in the area of Bois d'Arc Lake.

The exhibit will be on display March 1-29 during regular library hours. If you are interested in learning about the early history of our area, we hope you will attend. The exhibit and presentations are free of charge.
