Bonham, Texas – The Fannin Agricultural Association, Inc. is announcing their third annual Steaks on Main Ribeye Cook-off and dinner will be on March 29, 2025, at the Fannin County Courthouse on 101 E Sam Rayburn Drive, Bonham, TX 75418.
Steaks on Main is communitywide event created to promote agriculture and Fannin County through a day-long ribeye steak cooking competition, ribeye dinner, and a free concert on the Bonham square. The purpose of the event is to bring together Bonham, Fannin County, and the surrounding areas in the spirit of food, fellowship, and friendly competition. Excess proceeds raised from the event are intended to be donated to County FFA and 4H programs. Please join us and enjoy hors d’oeuvres, beverages, a ribeye dinner, and live music.
The Fannin Agricultural Association, Inc. was able to donate over $30,000 back to local FFA/4H programs in Fannin County in 2024 and they hope to be able to continue that success in 2025.

A ticket is NOT required to attend but will be required for the ribeye dinner.

Ribeye Cook-Off Competition
The Steaks on Main Ribeye Cook-Off Competition is open to all who would like to enter. The teams will set up between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 29 and the competition will begin at 10:00 AM with a cook’s meeting. Steaks will be judged on taste, appearance, tenderness, and doneness. Team entrants will have a location in proximity to the Fannin County Courthouse.
Teams are encouraged to cook hors d’oeuvres throughout the day for the public and all team entrants will be required to cook steaks for the ticketed ribeye dinner at 6:30 PM. Winners will be awarded a cash prize.

Ribeye Dinner
The ribeye dinner will consist of one (1) choice or better ribeye steak cooked by the competition teams served with baked potato, salad, and trimmings. Seating will be available for all who purchase a ticket.
Tickets for the ribeye dinner are on sale now and a limited number of tickets will be available on the day of the event at the Fannin Agricultural Association, Inc./Steaks on Main booth located on the square.
