Honey Grove, Texas -- Sonora Flowers is writing her own chapter in Honey Grove High School history after winning her division in the State Powerlifting Championship to become the school's first-ever girls state champion.
Flowers was the top lifter in the 1A/2A Division 114lb weight class.
Flowers left her mark on the State Powerlifting Championships by setting state records in both Deadlift (325) and Total (825).
