Ector, Texas -- Ector's Ryder Fulmer feasted on the Savoy pitching staff with a perfect 3-for-3 performance at the plate in addition to throwing one inning of no-hit ball to get the win in a run-rule, 22-12 victory over the Savoy Cardinals. Teammate Jayce Adams went 3-for-4 and Kaleb Haggard also played an important role, going 2-for-2, scoring four times and driving in two runs.
Heath Bingham, Fulmer and Adams all finished with four RBIs apiece.
Ector had a 7-0 lead after the first inning, but Savoy battled back with six runs in the top of the second. The Eagles answered with seven more runs in the bottom half of the frame to give Ector a 14-6 lead.
Both teams picked up a run in the third inning before Ector sealed the deal with seven runs in the bottom of the fourth en route to a five-inning, 22-12 win.
The Eagles will travel to Honey Grove on Friday, March 21.
